Story of a Prolific Cow The people of Davis county are telling far and wide of an incident in-cident that illustrates, they claim, the prolific quality of the soil of the country. This is the giving birth by one cow of six calves within a period of ten months. The cow is owned by Fred S. Crowley of Kaysville; she is a grade Durham, and in no other respect is she remarkable. The six calves were born in two batches of three each. The lirst three calves were born less th .11 ten months ago. They were w(eaned and fattened: sold to the butcher and have passed into I history. A few days ago the I.CO-.V repeated the feat by giving ; birth to three more liveiy little I calves that are doing well and ! pro' perii;, as. is trie mother cow.
