The affair was a great success suc-cess in every particular and reflected re-flected credit on the committees in charge, Mrs. Anna B. Phillips especially being a most indefatigable indefa-tigable worker in behalf of the event. The committees feel especial-j i ly grateful to Prof. C M.. Har- ris, who kindly furnished a fine i Edtey piano for the occasion free of charge, the beauti f ul tones of j which instrument were greatly enjoyed . Many others also contributed con-tributed to the success of the event. During the evening Prof. Lewis was presented with a beautiful umbrella as a token of esteein from members, of the choir.
