Show o M. I. A. Conjoint Programs Given The regular conjoint M- I. A-meetings A-meetings of the four L- D. S. wards will be held Sunday night in the ward chapels commencing at 7:30-Splendid 7:30-Splendid programs have been 'arranged 'ar-ranged to which all are invited. First Ward: Opening song by M- I. A- chorus, "Like as the Hart"; prayer by Mae Greenwood; chorus "Arise O Glorious Glor-ious Zion"; five minute talk on the slogan, by Gladys Meakin; trombone trom-bone solo by Glade Jorgensen; vocal solo, Darrell Wanlass; speaker, Harold Har-old D. Fife; chorus number, and closing prayer by Ray Ellison. Mr- Fife is the recreational leader lead-er at the State penitentiary and has had several years experience teaching at the Boys Detention School in Washington, D- C. and has a wonderful message to all, and especially to the young people-Second people-Second Ward: Prayer, Wilson Welsh; music for the evening to be furnished by the M. I. A. chorus; speaker, Lloyd Wagstaff; Wag-staff; five minute talk on Religion, Catherine Christensen; talk, Keith Miller. Third Ward: Song, "Let Us All Press On"; M I- A. chorus number; religious story, Mrs- R- L. Ashby; violin duet, Le-land Le-land Priday and Ann Clayson; trumpet trum-pet solo, Cecil Hansen; speaker of the evening, G- Edward Abel; closing clos-ing number by the chorus. Fourth Ward: The state highway patrol will present pre-sent a film on "Safety." o |
