Show ; j Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Searle have I moved into the J. J. Jones home on ! ! the corner of Third North and Third i Mrs. Jessie Nichcl cf Winnimuka, Nevada, is visiting here with her . twin sister, Mrs. Martin Rominger. Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo T. Shelley last Sunday Sun-day were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne L. Shelley and two daughters, Gail and Norma of Bingham. The Service Star Legion meeting was held Wednesday, the 20th, at the home of Mrs. Merling Clyde with Mrs. Laura Dunkley, president in charge. The afternoon's program included a talk on the life of Lincoln by Mrs. Elmer Bezzant; several Longfellow's poems read by Mrs. Clyde, musical numbers by Misses Zella -and Lola Hansen and a talk on the life of Washington by Mrs. Bezzant. Dainty refreshments were served by the hostess to the sixteen ladies present. The members of the Junior Literary Liter-ary League together with several special guests, met Monday night at the home of Mrs. Lillian C. Booth. The program consisted of two vocal solos, "Lullaby" and "The Lord's Prayer" rendered by- Mrs. C. E. Young, accompanied by Mrs. Booth, and an interesting review of Dorothy Canfield Fisher's "The Deepening Stream" given by Mrs. Wilson Cunningham. Cun-ningham. Mrs. E. A. Pearson, club president, presided. There were present in addition to the regular members, Mrs. Belva B. Ross, Mrs. Leo Nelson, Mrs. C. E. Young, Mrs. Henry Chipman and Mrs. Ralph Davis. |
