Show Henrieville News Items MELRA D. SMITH Kay and Laura Clark of Glen Canyon visited in town over the weekend. They report their son Ronald left Sunday by plane for Mississippi for two weeks active training in the Navy Reserve. June and Marilyn Bushnell visited with his brother Elmo, Iris and Kim. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Middle-ton of Grand Canyon and Mrs. Annette Crofts and children of Kanarraville visited with the Myron Willis family. Frank and Lula Moore had a chicken dinner for a family get-together of the Ralph. Wade, and Roxle Chynoweth families and the Darrell Neil-son family. Also Roxle and Lula tied a quilt at Lula's home. Karen Dutton, Allene Riddle. Bern ice. Elsie and Kathy Goulding and Mary Lou Nell-son went to a stork shower at Ronnie Brinkerhoff's at Tropic for Ronnie's sister-in-law O-reta Gutierrez. Aaronlc Priesthood Certificate of Achievement Awards were presented to six deacons in Sacrament meeting on Sunday. The program in meeting was the observing of Scout Sunday. Speakers were Jim-mie Smith, Gaylen Rose, Cecil Willis and Harry Partner. The scouts sang several songs. Word was received by Fawn Goulding of a new granddaughter born Feb. 8th to Burt and Iola Goulding of San Bernardino, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Verland Rose of Brigham City visited at the Dave Rose's Sunday, also son Collin was home from CSU. Howard and Margie Prince and Melvin and Florence Alv-ey and two children visited at the Layton Smith home on Sunday. Rett, Christine, Kenny and Stephanie Shakespear of St. George also visited the Smiths last week. Rob Goulding was home from CSU for the weekend at the Nephi Gouldlngs. Birthdays this week are Dorothy Smith, Conrad Johnson, Marion Willis, Russell Dutton, and Shauna Quilter. Anniversary of Lee and Thelma Smith. Joyce Partner and Lyllian Sorenson spent the weekend at the Harry Partners. Joyce came to ee her mother who has been 111 and in the Pangultch (continued inside) HFNRIEVILLP. (continued'. hospital, Harry brought her home from the hospital Sunday. Ross Rogers and Lynn So-renson also visited at the Partner home.
