Show The Word From Boulder BY ALICE ALVEY t Its snowed so much here, every day or two, we've got so we don't even comment on it. Everyone was su pleased a month or so ago but not any more. Our roads didn't even get a chance to dry up last week. Dr. Hines, a veterinary from Utah State, was here last week conducting a school on artificial Insemination. Ranchers participating were Truman Lyman, Anthony Coombs. Richard Griffin, and Joe Covington. The Fish and Game men trapped four turkeys. 3 hens and a torn, last week to be sent to the Moab area. They found them in Emeron Peterson's pasture at the foot of Boulder Mt. They said there are more than four feet of snow there. Mr. and Mrs. Emeron Peterson went to St. George last week to .ccompany their niece Vlckl n.urtz through the temple in her marriage to Kim Nelson Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hawa and Mrs. Neta Poulson were also in the wedding party The Glen Hegsteads had her folks and sister as recent visitors. The Bill Hathaways moved to Sscalante, he has employment at Steed Sawmill. The Emeron Petersons had son Jimmy home for several days, also his kids. They took him to Provo on the 24tb where he reported for duty with the Navy. Cleo Reed Ly-man passed his physical for army while In Fresno. Calif. He is home now for a while before being inducted. Janis Peterson is also home for a while. Recent speakers, in fact for the past month, in Sacrament meeting were Jack Chynoweth from Tropic and Leland Haws, Kay Gates and Cal Porter from Escalante and the Escalante Seminary class under the direction of Brother Wells, Cyn this Peterson also gave a piano selection. We've had some cougar hunters in town recently, they got a hugh one up along Boulder Creek a day or so ago. Mrs. Fay Jepsen spent a couple of days in Salt Lake last week undergoing x-rays and tests There are still flu cases in town. Mrs. Vic Inglott, imSJ former Irene King, Is Ui s Calif, hospital recovering from oack surgery She will be at the home of a brother, B. K. Wilson, for a few weeks after her release.
