Show Local and Society WISEMAN THOMPSON Mr. and Mrs. J Webster Jones announce the forthcoming marriage of Mlas Beverly Wiseman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs Jamea H. Wiseman, to Guy W. Thompson The marriage will be performed following the 11:00 session at the Salt Lake Temple on March 20th. An open house will be held at the Jones home, 2862 Oq-uirrh Drive, Salt Lake City, at 7 30 that evening. Mr and Mrs. George W. Thompson will honor the couple with a reception in the Cannonvllle ward chapel on March 29th. Guy has recently returned from serving an LDS mission in England. The couple will make their home in Salt Lake where both are attending the Unlveratty of Utah. ENGAGED Miss Virginia Bnihn RECEIVES HOMEMAKER AWARD Jan M. Peterson has been named 198S Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow for Panguitch High School because she achieved the high-eat score In a homemaking knowledge and attitude teat which she took along with other senior class girls In her school Dec. 3rd. She will be awarded a special Betty Crocker silver charm. Mr and Mrs Mark V Bruhn of Panguitch announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia, to Paul Clint Warby, son of Mr. and Mrs Paul Warby of Cedar City The couple, both juniors at the College of Southern Utah, are planning a late summer wedding In the St George Temple. Clint is president of the Delta Phi Kappa returned missionary fraternity and atudent public relations manager at CSU, as well as an announcer on radio station KSUB. He completed a mission for the LDS Church in Southern Germany. Virginia is a psychology and English major at CSU and has served one year in the Eskimo village of Point Hope, Alaska as a VISTA volunteer. After finishing at CSU, they plan to attend graduate school where Clint will receive a degree in Communications. |
