Mr. and Mrs. Earl Marshall returned home last week after spending ten days in Phoenix where they attended the races, and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Vera Goff, the Arnold Smoota, and with Jim and Ruby Myers who were home for a brief visit and returned to sunny Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Adair accompanied Jim and Wanda Sargent, and Lucile Cowles of Escalante, to Salt Lake to attend funeral services for the Adair's daughter Betty Lou's husband, Floyd Lake recently. Mr. and Mrs. Ad-dair remained up north to help son Carroll Adair celebrate his birthday, then their son Kenneth Adair of No. Salt Lake brought them home and spent the weekend here. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hen-rle, with daughter Sally Heat-onon and baby went to Calif, to visit their daughter Mrs. Bernice Wood and family. They returned home through Death Valley. Card Of Think. We wish to thank everyone for their kind offerings and words of sympathy extended to us during the lots of our wife and mother. It was deeply appreciated. Scott Worthen and family Medical patients in the hospital are Bobby Owens, Katie Blodgett, Thori Proctor, and IsabeU Judd. Mr. and Mrfc Reed Judd spent last week at Lander. Wyo. with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Judd. While there they all motored to Rexburg, Idaho to visit J. R. and Eleanor's daughter Mary Lou who is attending Ricks College there. J. R. has recently been made 1st coun-ciler in the Bishopric of the lander Second Ward. Helen Bird and daughter Ra-quel of Richfield and Annette Hatch and sons Kelly and Michael visited mother Grace Young Sunday and all helped celebrate Helen's 20th birthday. A baby boy was bora on the 17th to Rockland Lee and Mabel Jean Martin at Junction City. Kansas. There is a little brother at home to help welcome the new arrival. Proud grandparents are the Roy Nor-tons of Panguitch and Mrs. Adella Martin of California. |
