Show Mutual Aid Plan Is Gaining Local Favor The plan to unite 1500 people together for mutual aid is fast growing in favor among men and women, heads of families, in Duchesne Du-chesne county, according to those who are writing memberships. People like the idea of putting their . dollars all together in an organized way, to be handed over to the stricken family. Out of this money the bills can be paid bills that usually are left to hang over the heads of those bereaved. People would rather, according to one socilitor, express their sym-Ipathy sym-Ipathy by their dollar through the 'Mutual Aid Society, in order that j dependent children can be cared ! for, than to merely send flowers that fade and are gone. The plan of the Uintah Basin Mutual Aid Society is attracting favorable attention and support from the leading citizens in all communities, because there are no salaries to eat up its funds; the initial cost to put It in opera- tion is small; It does not take a single cent annually from the Basin. Ba-sin. It merely units fifteen hundred hun-dred people to help one of their neighbors and friends in distress. The membership is growing very rapidly. |
