Show WESTMINSTER PUSHES ITS BUILDING PLAN Dr. J. Richard Palmer, president of Westminster college, announced that the renovation campaign is well under way, with the chapel in Converse Hall newly decorated and a new stage constructed. The stage is four times larger than originally and has a new lighting system for dramatic productions, pro-ductions, new equipment provides all important lighting effects for any production. Floors of the chapel have been sanded and refinished. Included in the building program is the redecorating of four other rooms in Converse Hall. Doo-Flop-Inn, student union, was decorated in the school colors, gold and purple. Art room included new tile floors and the president's office was redecorated, re-decorated, ceilings lowered and an addition added for secretary's room and new lighting fixtures were installed. in-stalled. Dr. Palmer said a fourth way mark had been reached, with $75,-000 $75,-000 of the S300.000 goal received . in cash and pledges. Plans are outlined out-lined to complete the fund campaign cam-paign by June. |
