Tri-City lady golfers participate in tourneys The Tri City Ladies Golf Club recently participated in two golf tournaments. Darma Christensen won low gross in an 18-hole tournament sponsored by Mullet-Hoover Jeweiry and Trophies of Provo. Thelma Beighley and Trisha Breiling tied for second. First place low net went to Ann Taylor. Tied for second low net were Lucy Carter and Glenna Walker. The women played for the club championship Aug. 10 and 11 in a 30-hole 30-hole tournament, and Trisha Breiling emerged as the new club champion. Low net in the field was won by Mae Wright. Competitors played in two flights. Flight A winners were, low gross: Judy Dixon; low net: first place, Joyce Walker; second place, Myrna Grande. Flight B Winners were Lucy Carter for low gross; low net: first place, Jeanne Walker; second place, Margaret Thompson. Luncheon was served to all who participated.
