A New York dispatch to the Tribune states that "Mormon emigration to this country has practically, stopped," and the fact is cited as evident that "there has not been a solitary arrival sinoe last November." The fellow who handed that brilliant bit of news to the press as a startling piece of intelligence in-telligence oould find by looking back on the records that all the Mormon emigration from Europe, for a. great many years, if not always, has taken plaoe between April and October, and that it has been rare indeed to see an exception.
