Show Afjtcr a Vote of Confidence. London, December 15. The Press Association Associ-ation states it has been officially informed that the government will take the earliest action to ascertain whether it enjoys the confidence of the House of Commons. The Cabinet had a session of two hours and a half yesterday, and decided to meet the new Parliament and submit a programme of legislation, legis-lation, including a bill dealing with the subject sub-ject of county, government in England and Ireland. The Ministers were unanimously confident of Whig support. The Cabinet will re-assemble to-day. |
