Show lie Deserves Killing. New Yobk, December 14. When Mr. and Mrs. Henry Curow, of Lamberton, New Jersey, returned home Thursday evening from a call on a neighbor, they found their little daughter Mildred lying unconscious in the hall. She had been left alone in the house, as Lamberton is a very quiet hamlet. On her recovery, it was ascertained that she had been inhumanly treated by Benjamin F. Rossell, the best known and wealthiest man in the place, who visited the house immediately im-mediately after the departure. Mr. Conrow rushed over to KosselTs house, intending to wreak summary vengeance. Mrs. Bossell opened the door and she was told the whole story. She dropped on her knees before the angry father and begged him to spare her husband's life. She pleaded with Conrow not to kill, but to appeal to the legal authorities. author-ities. Conrow turned away without a word. Kossell was arrested. When the story came out the villagers surrounded the jail, but before be-fore the threats of violence could be executed, exe-cuted, the prisoner was "removed to the county prison.
