Show Death or Retta Haskell. Miss Retta Haskell of San Juan, Utah, died yesterday at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. M. Derrick, in the Twelfth ward. The young lady was here in the city on a visit, and a few days ago she was taken down with' typhoid fever when preparing to return to her parents. Miss Retta seemed to be improving up to a short time before" her death, when she quietly fell into a deep sleep and continued for I ntjverai nours in mat condition until life became extinct. The circumstances are somewhat remarkable. The funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the residence of Mr. A. M. Derrick, on Sixth East street, in the Twelfth ward. Mr. and Mrs. Thales II. Haskell, the bereaved parents, were unable to be present at the last sad rites to their beloved daughter. |
