Show THE Republican organ asks if Judge Roseborough Judge Baskin Parley Williams Wil-liams or Mr Royle was nominated for Congress and the opposing candidate was to charge that his opponent was not sound on the main question if it would be necessary to make any reply Certainly Cer-tainly not But if either of these gentlemen gentle-men was running as a Democratic nominee nom-inee against any Republican in the Territory Ter-ritory with the probability or possibility of election he would doubtless be assailed all the same by the morning morn-ing paper as bitterly and ineffectually as it is now assailing John Hailey of Idaho and with about the same justification justifica-tion or reason as prompted its recent attack upon J L Rawlins than whom no more loyal citizen or honorable gentleman I gentle-man never made a track in the soil of I Utah Mr Rawlins did not consider it necessary to make any reply to such a ridiculous aspersion and either of the other gentlemen named would probably pursue the same course |
