Show Beedlc AldermnK Rearrested NEW YanK Oct 12At 130 oclock this afternoon Inspector Byrnes received a bulky package from the District Attorneys office It Qontained an order from the District Attorney At-torney accompanied by bench warrants for the arrest of all the boodle Aldermen of the boardof 1884 save for Henry Sayles whose flight to Canada has inspired the crusade cru-sade of the prosecution of which the first paper was thus placed in the hands of Inspector In-spector Byrnes Counsel for the boodlers pleaded apainst an increase in the amount of bail but the court decided to make it 10000 in each case Alderman Kirk who had come in voluntarily in the meantime at once gave bail and went away Then one after another detectives brought in Aldermen Alder-men Parley Miller Cleary McQuade and McCabe Of these Cleary McCabe and Mo Quade got additional bail early in the evening even-ing Farley and Miller were unable to furnish fur-nish the added security and were locked in the Tombs for the night Later on Aldermen Alder-men Spiels ONeill and Ileilly were arrested and locked up Thus far nine have been rearrested re-arrested and disposed of as stated and there yet remain to be arrested as reported Duffey Fink Fullgraff and Wennell The case of the absent Sayles has been placed on the calendar for tomorrow |
