Show I Fine Stock Farm Sale LoUISVILLE Oot 12The sale of Glenview Glen-view the lebrated stock farm of the late J MoFerran began near this city today and was largely attended The sale comprises com-prises the farm and collection of 175 fine trotters The farm contains 647 110 acres with two fine residences splendid stables training track and orchards and is conceded by all to be one of the finest farms in America Amer-ica The farm was auctioned and sold to J I Case for 11350 an acre He stated he had bought in partnership with S C Wheeler of Chicago and that he would run the farm on the same plan as it was run before At the stock sale in the afternoon forty two horses were sold bringing high prices Nutwood the greatest living stud and representative repre-sentative of the Hambletonians sold to F D Stout of Dubukue Iowa for 22000 and Pancoast of the Great Mambrino Chief was purchased by John H Shultz of Brooklyn Brook-lyn for 28000 JR Crozier of Pennsylvania Pennsyl-vania paid 6900 for Wyoliffe and the prices ranged downward J I Case made three purchases The fortytwo head realized real-ized 122935 The sale continues three days |
