Show A Street Ulot LINCOLN Neb July 6A serious riot was threatened here yesterday afternoon between be-tween gangs of men employed in laying the track for rival street car companies on Tenth street Both companies were fighting fight-ing for the posseession of the street and as fast ns the rails were laid by ono gang the other would tear them up and replace them by their ow The leaders finally drew revolvers re-volvers and guarded their men with loud threats until the police stepped in and put three of them under arrest Among those arrested were John Fitzgerald President of the Irish National League of America and a stockholder in a rival company Ho was fined 10 and costs |
