I They also played fan favorites and songs from their newly released d album Two Audience members who arrived early were able to find seats around the tables about twenty feet from the stage Others attending the concert stood timidly around the tables as asif asif asif if the open space in front of the stage were off- off limits Two songs into the con concert ert Alex Band invited the crowd to come closer He teased the audience saying that the band doesn't bite except for maybe the guitar player nicknamed Arms After the invitation excited fans ventured ventured ventured ven ven- closer to the stage while many still sat at atthe atthe atthe the tables Both groups seemed to enjoy the music Before the concert began women near the table I was sitting at mentioned how excited they were to see the lead singer in person I Iwas Iwas Iwas was unaware of the lead singers looks but excited at t gazing on an attractive rock star l tit It Itoi F oi f. f rs h m if J a rf tr P f When Band took the stage I wasn't too impressed with the bleach blond Californian That is I wasn't impressed until he opened his mouth and began to sing Band has one of the best voices that I have heard live His voice which doesn't give away his age of 23 is both deep and seductive I could now see how he was making all of the women in inthe inthe inthe the audience swoon Band also spoke to the audience between songs joking with the group closest to the stage He introduced one of the songs from their first album Camino Palmero as a song about a girl named Adrienne and that she sucks The audience laughed at this comment as The Calling began to play the song Adrienne The guitar player known as Arms did a decent impression of Carlos Santana during the song Why Dont Don't You and I. I The song was recorded by Santana featuring the vocals of Band The concert came to a close with The Calling performing their first hit single Wherever You Will Go Many audience members sang along with this favorite The Callings Calling's performance commenced with applause and cheers from the audience My only problem with the concert was being subjected to second-hand second smoke After the show fans waited anxiously to purchase their new CD get autographs and pictures with The Calling |
