I This service is available to all alln n students Basic information can be found simply by looking through a alist alist list found in the Career Action Building Basic information ti includes job description salary r r qualifications and whether or not the job is full or part timeY time If Y After a student has selected the jobs that interest them he may referral with detailed receive a more information and who to contact A student may receive up to three referrals in a 24 hour period The staff members are very helpful and take the time to talk to each job seeker individually There are classes taught weekly on preparing a resume and preparation 1 for an interview The Career Action Center also has a library full of information on different career choices The student may do his or her her own research or ask for assistance Certain books may be checked out of the library Everyone loves entertainment but it can be somewhat expensive offers discounts for a variety of entertainment around Salt Lake City Four Symphony tickets rickets can be purchased for 10 Tickets for the Ballet are 3 each Mann theatre movie passes are 3 for Mann and for Century Street tickets are each Also bus passes are available for 13 rather than 18 any where else These discount tickets rickets can be purchased at the Information Desk Deskin in the College Center The Barbering and Cosmetology Department offers hair cuts styles and perms for a great deal less than what a salon charges Men and Women's hair cuts are 1 A shampoo set and cut is 2 Permanents may range from 8 to 16 and coloring from 3 to 6 Cosmetology student Sarah Dow said Ive never seen anyone leave with a bad haircut The students are under the supervision of the instructor The Cosmetology department is in the Adt Administration Building |
