| Show Vice Pres of Finances Craig Plant V This past year in student government has been a memorable and productive time I personally feel that this years year's officers have done more for the students and the colleges than any previous group of officers The constant support r and dedication of the combined with the enthusiasm and the desire of the officers to accomplish the goals that would most benefit all of the students has achieved successful results My responsibilities as Vice President of Finances are to establish an operating budget for the Associated Students for the fiscal year This money is spent on 4 js student activities newspaper newspaper- editions public relations the graduation y t E ceremony mony and many other stu student ent benefits benefits My p position als also entitles me to be t the e f. f Chairman of the Budget Hearing Committee which establishes a budget for the student organizations here on campus Im I'm also the bookkeeper controller of the expenditures and collector of the revenue that comes in Im I'm responsible for the requisitions that come from the various offices in student government to obtain money I determine if an expenditure is reasonable I am also a voting member of the Executive Council The accomplishment that gave me the most satisfaction this year was the organization of the Christmas Club Sub-For-Santa Sub With the help of the thes s It we were able to help 25 families have a happy Christmas We all helped make their Christmas a special on one and one that I will always remember and cherish I thank you for your generous hearts and caring This is just one quality that makes Utah Technical College ollege unique With the end of my term coming up lip I hope that each of you will wil become involved in student government It is something that will leave a deep impression on you for forthe the rest of your l life e. e The experiences I have had are priceless I would not trade J them for anything As the elections approach I encourage each of you to get involved with your f school and make it a fun and meaningful experience Its It's t th the real world that is looking for people who are involved to become successful This is o one e way to prove you are a leader r Thank you for your support and kindness are awesome If there is i anything I can help you with please come in and see me or call Craig Plant Vice President of Finances t v T |
