| Show NATIONAL YOUTH WELFARE PROJECTS FOR SAN JUAN CO As a result of action started when state director wilford of the national youth administration visited san juan county a couple of weeks ago sidewalk projects in both monticello and blanding are to be launched about june ath and bookkeeping and office assistance projects for young women also in both towns the projects will be financed by federal appropriations through the national youth administration and will pay 14 to each young person qualifying for the employment for 40 hours work each month in order to be eligible for this work the applicant must not be less than 18 years of age nor more than 24 years must be registered with the state employment office and have a social security cuch ty card and number the e projects are being sponsored by the county commissioners and additional information may be obtained from the county welfare office in the court house |
