Halversen presided over his final meeting as president of the chamber, and S. Morgan Sor-onsen Sor-onsen gave the Christmas thought for the occasion. The luncheon was one of the best attended ever staged by the chamber as members brought their husbands and wives for the two-hour two-hour break in a heavy business day, the fifth annual Christmas party given by the chamber. D. James Cannon, executive secretary sec-retary of the chamber and an LDS bishop, gave the invocation, and (he chamber members and guests joined in singing some Christmas carols |
