Show KINDERGARTEN SIGNUP IN HOLLADAY Kindergarten registration for prospective Holladay elementary school's first graders will be held May 9 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p m. at the school. Kindergarten classes are scheduled sched-uled to begin May 31 and will run through six consecutive weeks. Requirements for attendance are the child's age must be six years before Sept. 1, 1955; submission of child's dental and health blanks signed by practicing dentists and doctors; submission of child's birth certificate. Mrs. Ruth Cronin, school nurse, will be in charge of the medical records and Holladay Parent-Teacher Parent-Teacher associates will assist with registration details. Mrs. Roy Hobbs is chairman of the welfare program which has to do with children's attendance at the school. An innovation for kindergarten pupils this year will be a "trial day in school." The little registrants regis-trants will attend first grade classes May 13 to acquaint themselves them-selves with teaching procedures and mingling with other children. The present first-grade teachers will handle these kindergarten sessions. ses-sions. I |
