Show UTAH PIONEER DAUGHTERS OF EMC MEET The East Mill Creek Daughters of Utah -Pioneers met last week at the home of Mrs. Nina Neff, 3377 Oakwood Ave. The lesson concerned the Mormon Mor-mon Battalion, while the history was on Robert Pixton, a member of the famed group whose life was reviewed by his "granddaughter. "granddaugh-ter. Mrs. Margaret Hatch won the booklet, "Heartthrobs," which the camp purchases weekly for maintenance main-tenance of the DUP Meromial building on Capitol Hill. "Heartthrobs" "Heart-throbs" is written by Kate B. Carter, Car-ter, national DUP president, and contains historical data on Utah pioneers. Mrs. Ora Hill Young assisted the hostess and luncheon was served to 14 guests. |
