Show Mormon Pioneer Village Advances The National Sons of Utah Pioneers Pio-neers met this week at the Temple-view Temple-view room of the Temple Square hotel with Richard E. Lambert, president, in charge. Volume I, No. 1 of the new-Pioneer new-Pioneer magazine was launched, and reflected great credit on Editor Virgil Peterson and Director Direc-tor Nicholas G. Morgan Sr. Among those who attended were President Lambert, , Mr. Morgan, Mayor Earl J. Glade, State Senator Sen-ator Elias L. Day, Professor Walter Wal-ter A. Kerr, Dr. Avard Fairbanks and Horace A. Sorensen, all of whom discussed various phases of the Pioneer Mormon Village which I will be rected on the great and historic park which will be built in Sugar House where the old state prison site is. Next months meeting will be held at the Brigham Young university. |
