Show 3 NEW POLICE TO SPEED S. II. TRAFFIC ihree trattic control policemen both schooled and skilled in this particular phase of police work joined the Sugar House force December De-cember 12. Lt. Ray S. Cahoon, chief of the Sugar House office, declared these three men, together with the regular regu-lar staff of 10, will be on duty during the peak traffic hours all during the holidays. The heaviest load comes at 4 p. m., Lt. Cahoon said. The police will bend every effort to keep traffic through Sugar House on the move and into the 11 public parking lots strategically placed throughout the area which take parking off the streets. Police, the lieutenant said, will do their utmost to convience the motorists who throng to Sugar House for the rest of December. He asked the cooperation of both pedestrians and motorists to avoid accidents. |
