Show LINCOLN WARD CAROL AFFAIR DEC. 16 Lincoln LDS ward MIA will present pre-sent its annual Christmas carol service Tuesday, Dec. 16, according accord-ing to Margaret Dallof, activity counselor. Community singing will be led by Estenia Wilson and each class will present a musical skit depicting a carol. The entire program is under the direction of MIA officers Grace Miles, Dorothy Monson, Mrs. Dallof, Hamilton Wilson, Don Stewart and Roy Silver. First year Beehive girls will present pre-sent "Jolly Old Saint Nicholas," with the following girls participating: participat-ing: Teacher Naova Greensides, Barbara Curtis, Sally Hunter, Pat Golatz, Bonnie Mower, Pauline Nielson. Peggy Haywood is directing the second year Beehive girls in "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Sharon Gren, Diane Kendall, Darlene Nielson, Niel-son, Arlene Rosvall, Marta Bald-eras, Bald-eras, Anita Nelson, Brigittee Strick- er and Jeanette Goodwin will act in it. First year Mia Maids will portray j "Up on the Housetop," under the supervision of teacher Jessie Lewis. Janet Abbott, Carol Kendall, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Curley, Rula Curtis, Kay and Ray Golatz, Shirley Miller, Connie Wilcken, Joan Tondro, Carolyn Lauritzen, Lorna Jensen and Rex-een Rex-een Searle have parts. Louise Karpowitz has directed "Her Comes Santa Claus," using the following girls: Sara Curtis, Ida Jean Foy, Marilyn Lancaster, Wynell Poulsen, Glenda Renshaw, Carolyn Roswell, Marilyn Murray, Susan Stevens, Evelyn Trauffer. Scoutmaster Herman Dalof will lead his troop in in a portrayal of "Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer.' Rein-deer.' Dennis Brown, Bill Bohlin, Bill Wiersdorff, Hans and Zeke Latschowski, Eldon Rich, Robert Balderas, Ronny Greensides, John Brown, Brent Lewis are in the cast. Explorers are under the direction of Tom Brammer. He will use the following boys in "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth:" Bernard Adams, Larry Toley, Tim Bates, Walter Goff, Wayne Tondro, Louis Mower, John Thomas, David Goodwill, Larry Garside, Tonald Dalebout, John Morgan, Ronny Poulsen, Ted Remington, Pete Peterson. Pet-erson. Mprjorie Smith's Junior Gleaners are nearly all working during the evenings until the holidays, so they arranged to have "Frosty, the Snowman" ' portrayed for them. Lynne Fisher, Brooke Buchi and Mary Jane Schamoda will be Frosty and Eskimos. M-Men and Gleaners will combine forces to present "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," under the guiding hand of Edna Snelgrove. Karen Clark, Dean Benson, Jack Allred, Barbara Blackhurst, Dick Donelson, Bob Taylor, Joy and Pearl Trauffer, Rex Moulton, Mar-dene Mar-dene Moulton, Norman Miller, Joy Bodily, Don Wilkinson, LaRae Silver are in the cast. |
