Show SHERMAN KIDS XMAS SHOW AT GRANITE HI By CLAIRE MORRIS Sherman elementary school "graduates" to Granite high school at 7:15 p. m., Dec 22, to present its annual Christmas program, C. L. Bennett, principal, announced. "Christmas Around the World" is the theme that will be developed by the pupils of the fourth, fifth and sixth grades. Opening scene will consist of a family talking about customs in other lands. Cast of characters are: Mother, Sharolyn Bagley; Jane played by Joan Sanders, and Tom played by Tommy Lane. Readers who will tell the story of each act are:: HOLLAND scene, Rowena Erickson, Judith Morton, Lynnette Piatt, Stephen Utley and Terrill Maxwell; ENGLISH scene, Annette Strand, Nancy Jones, Carolyn Capson, Elaine Malm and Penney Anderson; CANADA scene, David Ehninger, Keith Rushton, Shannie Elton, Janet Knowlton, Craig Jewett, Carolyn Anderson and Craig Waller; MEXICAN scene, Robert Anderson, William Cockayne, Sheron Cameron and Susan Walker. AMERICAN scene, David Anderson Ander-son and Robert Pace; CHILDREN IN AMERICAN SCENE, Janet and Janiel Basinger; Lynnette Mackay, Larry Keller, David Towers and Mary Derbridge; SANTA CLAUS, Wolfgang Schindler; THREE SHEPHERDS, Don Jenkins, David Draper and Stephen Miller-Christmas Miller-Christmas music will be furnished by the sixth grade Boys' choir, fourth grade chorus, and the Sherman Sher-man school orchstra and band. A special invitation is extended to all Sherman school patrons and school children to attend this special spe-cial program in the spacious Granite high school auditorium. "Get highbrow and go to Granite" is the word that is being passed around by the Sherman school children.. |
