Show COL. HAINES IN PISTOL MATCH Colonel John W. Haines, whose wife, Edith, lives at 3175 So. 20th East, recently fired in the .45 caliber cal-iber pistol division of the National Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio. Military and civilian marksmen came from all over the world to take part in the 52nd annual matches. Colonel Haines, a member of the U.S. Reserves, served on active duty with the Army in the European theater during World War II. A 1929 graduate of Princeton University, he is regularly employed em-ployed as secretary-treasurer of the Inland Gas Co. |
