Show FOUR THRILLED OVER EUROPE JAUNT Still thrilled over the experiences of their summer's European tour are Holladay residents Mrs. Mildred Mil-dred Wagstaff, Dr. Bernice Moss, Mrs. Evelyn Neff and Mrs. Afton Parkinson. The trip began with a flight to New York City and thence to Prestwick, Scotland. The quartet of ladies toured Scotland and northern England by private car. " After crossing the English channel chan-nel they met the University of Utah sponsored tour in Paris and continued, on through France, Switzerland and Italy. In Rome the party witnessed an outdoor opera staged in the Colesium. Mid-journey saw them back in middle Europe where they were granted military clearance into the Soviet zone of East Berlin. The continental tour ended with the return trip to England and the pleasant ocean crossing home to America. Though the long-planned trip is over, Mrs. Wagstaff said, a hundred hun-dred memories remain with her and her three friends swimming in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Baltic and North Seas; the gay musicals seen in London; the love-ballets love-ballets in Paris ; breathtaking views of Alpine glaciers and Bren- ner Pass; the LDS Temple ceremonies cere-monies marking its creation in Basil; the elevated in Berlin, right down to the fabulously delicious ice cream served in Denmark. |
