Show CARNIVAL ADDS TO FETE IN HOLLADAY Lots of people, lots of fun marked the very successful carnival car-nival put on by the Holladay Sixth LDS ward Friday and Saturday nights. But perhaps the most pleased attendant was little Miss Jolene Schwendiman, five-year-old daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Schwendiman, Schwen-diman, who won the TV set. Participating in the event were all the organizations of the ward under the direction of the finance committee. Assisting Chairman Lynn Brown were Don Rasmussen, David Pet-tigrew, Pet-tigrew, Joe McDonald and Mell Harris. Especial gratitude was expressed by the committee to the G. Carlos Smith's Home and Auto, Albertson's Albert-son's and Stevens' Dry Goods stores of Holladay for their patronage patron-age and to Sugar House merchants of Keith O'Brien, Granite Furniture, Furni-ture, Bud's Mens Duds, Penneys South East Furniture, Pehrson's and particularly to Kimball's who so generously contributed toward the TV set. |
