Show mil Ff-STIML $ FLOWERS SIT SST. 22-23 The annual Fall Flower Festival of the Salt Lake region of the Utah Associated Garden clubs will be held at 1053 East 21st South, Sugar House, on October 22 and 23. The show is co-sponsored by the 18 garden clubs of the region and the Sugar House chamber of commerce. It will feature chrysanthemums and late fall flowers. There will also be special displays of African violets and artistic arrangements. An invitational class designed to attract all the foremost arrangement arrange-ment artists in the state is being offered. Receiving room will be open on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 8 to 11:30 a. m. Judging will begin at 11:30 and the show will be open to the public at 2 p. m. on Saturday and from 10 a. m. to 9 p. m. on Sunday. Entries are not limited to garden club members. A festival air will be maintained throughout the show as there will be booths where food, gifts and garden accessories and supplies may be obtained. In charge of the affair will be the officers of the Utah Association, Associa-tion, including Mrs. S. A. Steier, president; J. Henry Ehlers, regional region-al director; Mrs. V. R. Hutchens, show chairman; Mrs. Howard Hausknecht, schedule chairman; Mrs. R. V. Morris, artistic division chairman; Mrs. J. C. Norman, horticulture hor-ticulture division chairman, and Mrs. A. Millor, junior division chairman. |
