Show FCofC Direct ors Eight names have been entered as nominees for directors of the Sugar House chamber of commerce, com-merce, and four will be chosen at the chamber's luncheon October 19 at Beau Brummel. L. L. Halversen, heading the secret nominating committee, proposed pro-posed Newel K. Brown of Knight's Shoes; Edward V. Clayton, Mode O'Day; John DeHaan, DeHaan Harmony Coordinators; Mrs. Theo Kendall, Lake View Realty; Henry Hen-ry Richards, Granite Furniture; J. Gordon Sorensen, South East Furniture; Dr. George Veasy, Memorial Me-morial Medical Center, and C. G. (Neal) White, First Security. Four nominees receiving the highest number of ballots at the October meeting will be seated with the holdover directors. Dick Foreman, Joe Aquila and Halversen are retiring from the board. All members are urged to attend at-tend and cast their votes for ', the all important directors who guide the destinies of the chamber in 1956. |
