Show EMC, Grandview Hold Leads in Basket bc League M Men basketball in the East Mill Creek Stake finished theii third week of play last Mondaj with Cummings, Grandview and East Mill Creek Wards coming out as winners. In the firsi game Cummings was able tc overcome Rosecrest by a scon of 22-16. The second game between be-tween Grandview and Evergreen Ever-green was the real thriller o the evening, play finally havini o go into an overtime period jvergreen with a four-mai ball team, tied the ball game ui in the closing seconds of the game. However, in the nex two minutes Blaine Hudson wa: able to put in three quick beautiful beau-tiful baskets for Grandview The final score was Grandview 34, Evergreen 26. Fast Game The last game was far anc away the fastest game of the evening, with an inspired East Mill Creek team holding Wilfort to three points (all foul shots) into the third quarter. At the same time East Mill Creek was able to tally 21 points. The spark seemed to leave however and the final score doesn't indicate indi-cate the action of the first half. East Mill Creek still maintain ed their lead but the final score vas 31 to 20. Three more games will be olayed starting at 7 p.m. next Monday in the Granite Jr. Gym.
