Show Assoc. Clubs To Meet Tues. Directors of the Associated Clubs of Southeast Salt Lake will meet Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Sprague Library Li-brary in Sugar House, according to Norman G. Berndt, president. Purpose of the meeting is to complete com-plete the organization structure of the association and to discuss pressing community problems. Praised in Editorial Mr. Berndt noted that the program of the Associated Clubs was recently praised in a Salt Lake Tribune editorial entitled, "Southeast Salt Lake's 'Cold War' Points to Need for Consolidating Con-solidating With City." The editorial edi-torial stressed the need for coordinated co-ordinated city-county planning in this fast-growing residential and commercial area. It also quoted excerpts from Mr. Berndt's guest editorial in The Bulletin. Directors of the Associated Clubs are from eight clubs: Sugar Su-gar House Chamber of Commerce. Com-merce. Sons of Utah Pioneers, Sugar House Business and Professional Pro-fessional Women. Highland Center Lions, Sugar House Rotary, Holladay Lions. Sugar House Lions, and East Mill., Creek Lions. 1 |
