Show Installation of Power Poles to Be Completed Dec. 5, Official States New metal power poles being installed this week along 21st South and 11th East are the beginnings be-ginnings of the new "white way" in the Sugar House district dis-trict A. L. Leick, Utah Power and Light Company representative representa-tive announced Tuesday. All poles should be up by Dec. 5, he said, replacing the old wooden ones. For the convenience of the Christmas committee of the Sugar Su-gar House Chamber of Commerce, Com-merce, poles are being installed first where they will be of most service in the colorful decorations dec-orations being planned. Mr. Leick said that the company plans to have the new lights installed in-stalled on the poles by Dec. 25. In the meantime, he said, the old lights will be used. |
