Show Sugar House's Gala Christmas Displays To Attract Thousands One of the intermountain west's outstanding animated Christmas Christ-mas displays was set up early this week and was housed in an attractive building on Sugar House's plaza. Thousands of youngsters aie expected to visit it between now.iand. Christmas, according to Paul R. Sigsbee, Christmas chairman of the local Chamber of Commerce- The colorful "Christmas House" display was erected through the cooperation of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce and the South East Furniture Co. In addition, southeast kiddies will thrill at the other Christmas Christ-mas decorations being erected. Wednesday a huge Christmas tree was set up west of the plaza monument. Lights and! other decorations were added 1 Wednesday and Thursday. Local stores are getting their colorful Christmas ' displays ready. This year the Chamber is sponsoring a lighting and window display contest among the business firms. Chairman of this event is Ray D. Free. Judging will take place next week. MUSIC Several outstanding events are being pianaied tfor the holidays,, holi-days,, acording to Mr. Sigsbee. One of them will be the appearance ap-pearance of the Wasatch Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church's chorus on the evening iof Dec 20. Other musical groups will perform during the holidays, Mr. Sigsbee Sigs-bee stated. Arrangements are underway for the special Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon, Tuesday, Dec. 19, according to Paul L. Pehrson, Chamber president. pres-ident.
