Show . ! S. II. YOUTHS HAVE POPULAR BAND One of the most popular dance bands in the Southeast area is composed of a group of Sugar House youths under the direction direc-tion of Don Hargrave. Known as "Don Hargrave and His Orchestra," the band is composed com-posed of seven members. In addition to Mr. Hargrave, who plays firslt saxophone, the band includes Clinton Laner, third saxophone; Bob Hite, second saxophone; Jim Millward, first tr.umpet; Eldon Erickson, second sec-ond trumpet; Marion Millward, piano, and ' Dean Roberts. East, Stfuth Grads The young musicians, former students of South and East high schools, expect to enter the University Uni-versity of Utah this fall. Following popular trends and modes in music, the band has developed a popular following among church, school, and boys' Jiid girls' clubs. ! |
