Show Employes Give Strong Support to Wallace F. Bennett, president of Bennett's Ben-nett's and Bennett Motor Co., is seeking the Republican nomination nom-ination and the right to oppose op-pose U. S. Sen. Elbert D. Thomas Thom-as in his bid for a fourth term. Want to Help "As employes, we'd like to do something ifor your campaign," wrote Wally Rogers, a worker at Bennett's. "The New Dealers claim you're a business man, as though that's bad. Our government govern-ment is the biggest business of them all. We need some business busi-ness men to help direct it." "As for Mr. Thomas," said Wally, "I can't remember that he ever did anything outstanding outstand-ing for our state. . . . Twenty years ago he complained that Senator Smoot was too old. If Thomas were to have another term he'd be older than Smoot." "Here and at the factory and at Bennett Motor there are 300 of us," Wally continued. "Of course, we're not politicians and we're not great speakers, but we know you! All we need is to be organized and given some direction. We all have Mends and we contact institutions where we can reach a lot of people. peo-ple. We'd like to help prove that labor isn't for Thomas."
