Show Edwin (Ted) Cannon Seeks Senate Post Edwin B. (Ted) Cannon, well-known well-known southeasterner, is a candidate can-didate for the state Senate in the primary election Tuesday, Sept. 5, on the Republican ticket. tick-et. Mr. Cannon was born and reared in Forest Dale, of two pioneer families: the Cannons and Bennions. He now lives with his wife, the former Beth Christensen. and his three children, chil-dren, at 2254 E. 9th South. Mr. Cannon attended the local schools and graduated in 1935 from the University of Utah law school. He now is a member mem-ber of the law firm of Stewart, Cannon & Hanson. He served 13 years as Republican chairman chair-man of voting District 59, Reason for his candfidacy, Mr. Cannon pointed out, arises from a desire to do something constructive fo; the citizenry. He feels strongly that every e ti;:en should ta.ke a more active ac-tive interest in public affairs. |
