And already they have been guest speakers to tell about their exciting jaunt. Monday, at the Spruces in Big Cottonwood, Cotton-wood, they were guest speakers speak-ers at the Sons of Utah Pioneers steak fry. The members and their wives thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful evening. Dr. and Mrs. John Christen-sen Christen-sen were hosts at a pot-luck supper in their back yard over the weekend. Saw Jean and Donna McDonough . . . Mr. and Mrs. John Duncan . . . When the Stratford Ward burned down the whole Southeast South-east and half the downtown residents turned out to mourn as they watched the beautiful beauti-ful chapel go up in flames. AVe hope as many turn out to the big fund-raising ear-nival ear-nival on September 8 and !) at the church grounds, so that a new meeting house can be constructed. Keith Taylor is back in Hawaii Ha-waii now, but before he returned to his home there after vacationing vaca-tioning in Salt Lake he hung his fraternity pin on Faye Drushal. Keith was a Sigma Chi on the University of Utah campus and has an interesting coordinating job with the colleges in Hawaii. During his stay here he and Faye were guests at a delicious barbecued steak dinner in the garden of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Karpowitz. Their son, Paul Rogers, and his wife, Dorothy, were hosts. Saw Dr. and Mrs Art Burton, who are now back in Philadelphia ... Dr. and Mrs. David Blood . . Mr. and Mrs. Les Hewlett . . . Mr. and Mrs. Max Barber. What excitement! . . . Wendell Wen-dell J. Ashton and his lovely wife, Marian, have a fourth daughter. Wendell made the announcement to his many friends by passing around chocolates. The baby was born in the LDS hospital last week.
