Show EMCers Note Marriages, Birth, Honors Nuptial news again takes the spotlight as three forthcoming forthcom-ing marriages prove of interest to East Mill Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin W. Rawlings are making formal announcement of the approaching ap-proaching marriage of their daughter, Elaine, to Morris Earl Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin E. Johnson. May 22 is the day when friends of Miss Rawlings will gather at the Aviation Av-iation Club to hear the glad tidings. Date for the nuptials has been set for June 25 with ceremony to be performed in Salt Lake LDS Temple. The charming bride-elect will graduate in June from the University of Utah. Mr. Johnson is a junior student at USAC. Miss Irene Holley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Basil Holley and Lance M. Draper, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Draper, have chosen June 18 as their wedding wed-ding day. Vows will be exchanged ex-changed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and later that day the two will leave for a honeymoon at Banff and Lake Louise. i Of interest to some East Mill Crekers is the anouncement of the engagement of two well-known well-known BYU students. Miss Donna Hawkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Hawkins of Florham Park, N. J., will exchange ex-change vows in late summer in Salt Lake LDS Temple with He-ber He-ber T. Hall Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber T. Hall of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Both are junior students at the Y. Donna is a frequent visitor to EMC as a house guest of Mary Osguthorpe. Tiny Janice Poiilton is making mak-ing proud exclamations over the arrival of her new baby sister, Tina Dennise, who made her debut on April 22. Proud parents par-ents of these girls are Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Poulton. Mrs. Poul-ton Poul-ton will be remembered as the former Mildred Ausherman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Ausherman. A resident of East Mill Creek, Mr. William T. Bllleter, has recently re-cently added more honors to his name. On May 7, he had the privilege of conducting the combined com-bined Salt Lake City high school bands in their spring festival which was held at the tabernacle. taber-nacle. Congratulations. |
