Show 'IP Mothers Set Meeting Mrs. H. Vernon Best, 2197 Lincoln is one southeasterner who is making a name for herself her-self in the world of women's clubs. She is chairman of the annual bridge tea and book re view that is being sponsored by the University of Utah Mother's club.- Luncheon Bridge The affair is scheduled for Thursday, May 20 in the Union Building on the University of Utah campus. Luncheon will be served at 1 p.m. followed by bridge in the ballroom. Highlight of the afternoon will be a review of the classic play "A Doll's House" by Hen-rik Hen-rik Ibsen with Helen Kimball doing the presentation. This review will be given in the west lounge of the Union Building. Tea will be served late in the afternoon, according to Mrs. Best, chairman. Committee Committee for the lovely social so-cial are Mrs. David McMurdie, review; Mrs.' A. Austin Smith, bridge; Mrs. Vernon R. Hutch-ens, Hutch-ens, . iuncheon; Mrs. Warren Jenson, decorations; Mrs. Thomas Thom-as R. Brunker, prizes; Mrs. Hy-rum Hy-rum Peterson, tables. Officers of the organization are Mrs. Frank Kirbv who is president, Mrs. Henry D. Ockey, first vice president and Mrs. Amos Epperson, second vice president. |
