Show THIS and THAT By Leah Bond Guests at the A. WILLIAM LUND home on 14th East over the week end included MR. and MRS. H. GRANT VEST of Logan. Mr. Vest is superintendent of schools in Logan and had to come clown for U. E. A. so they tucked in the three kiddies and all made the trip . . . Seems that everyone made the most of those wonderful days out of school last week. The Guide class members from Primary all went horse-back riding on Thursday. JOAN DAVIS' Trekkers had a roller skating party and KATHLEEN REES took her Blazers on an outing too ... On Monday night at the home of Katherine Plowgian, 1986 Douglas, a meeting and social were held for all Primary officers and teachers. The bishopric met with the group and set apart all new teachers to their positions. LOVEDA DAVIS gave the teacher-training lesson. Cohostesses for the evening were STELLA NELSON and NAOMI JENSEN. Four tiny babies came over to church with their parents on Sunday to be given a name. MR. and MRS. GERALD MARK HICKMAN named their baby GERALD MARK, JR. The GLEN PAGE'S came in from their Holladay home, 4943 Fair-view Fair-view Drive, to have an old neighbor, SIMON KUEGELE name their little girl VICKI K. . . . SHELDON ALBERT was the name the ALBERT J. WILDE'S chose for their little boy. The ARLON JACOBS' baby was named LORRAINE by her grandfather . . . BOB THOMPSON has selected select-ed his committee for the danc-mg danc-mg club. They include the WTALLY IVERSONS the BOB MERRILLS, the LYMAN TYLERS, TY-LERS, the DICK BATEMANS and BOB BORG. They are busy making plans and everyone is looking forward to the first dance on Nov. 18 . . . It's a baby boy for the CORNELIUS COR-NELIUS VAN ROOSENDAALS at 18S3 So. 12th East . . . ROBERT ROB-ERT DIVETT was released from his position as chairman of the adult Aaronic priesthood committee oh Sunday and taking tak-ing his place is PARLEY FER-NELIUS FER-NELIUS . . . Among the newcomers new-comers in the ward are the GLEN CORNWALLS who bought the FRANK BERG home at 1829. South 10th East. SHIRLEY hardly had her curtains cur-tains hung after the Mutual officers were after her to teach the Gleaners . . . BARBARA CUMMINGS is in- charge of Gleaner activities this year. As a stake project the Gleaners are preparing Chrisitmas boxes to go to Berlin . . . Two more new M. I. A. workers are DOROTHY SOELBERG adn NANCY TEN-NY TEN-NY . . . Rempinlier FAE DON MA COOLEY'S original play "Diane" "Di-ane" that was presented last spring? Well to make a long story short the cast has been asked in pro-cut it in the Mid-vale Mid-vale City Hall nn Oct. 21. |
