Show Libbie Edward School News Pre-Scliool Clinic Set For March 31 First grade teachers of the Libbie Edward School will conduct con-duct a special orientation clinic March 31 for parents of students who expect to enter the first grade next fall, and invitations are now being sent out to parents. par-ents. Purpose of the clinic, according accord-ing to Principal F. Earl Walker, is to acquaint parents and their wore a green cosume. Bonnie Jackson, Cameron Pe-derson Pe-derson and Alice Klick danced a tap dance called Four Leaf Clover. Elizabeth Teel played a piano solo called Trains. It was beautiful. beau-tiful. You can't have anything out of place, Not even a pin or a little shoe lace. You can't put your feet upon the couch, 'Cause if you do its ouch, ouch, ouch. You can't do anything till you'i "scrooie" in the head. Like runnen down stairs or sitten on the bed. Don't run throu' the house or you'll shake the lamp. Don't come in the house 'cause your feet are damp. That's the way it woes all day. Can't do this or that till you're gray. Then when you, think of the day when you can do this. Those days are the days you're sure to miss. Nancy Merrill, Mrs. Bailey's Fourth Grade. I children with the program followed fol-lowed by the first grade at the pre-school clinic. Speakers will include Miss Margaret Williams, Granite School District Primary supervisor; super-visor; Miss Naomi Zundel, district dis-trict nurse, and Principal Walker. Also included in the afternoon's after-noon's schedule will be a program pro-gram presented by first grade students, an exhibit of first grade work, and a book display. The pre-school youngsters will play games under the supervision super-vision of Mrs. Juana Osguthorp and Mrs. LaRue Hathaway. In charge of the clinic will be Miss Jane Hopkinson, Mrs. Phylis Pardoe and Mrs. Luana Monson. King and Queen Boys and girls from every room in the building tried out for King and Queen for our St. Patricks Day program. The King and Queen from the lower grades were Alice Klick and Darrell Ewell from our room. We clapped loud when they were xrowned. King and Queeri. , On Program Sherry England from our room sang a solocalled"Gal Way Bay." It is an Irish song. She |
