Show Sugar House SUP To Meet Monday Calvin W. Rawlings, prominent promin-ent Salt Lake City attorney, will be guest speaker at the monthly dinner meeting of the Sugar House Sons of Utah Pioneers, Monday evening, March 28. The meeting will be held at the Towne and Country Inn, 5244 Highland Drive. Also scheduled on the program, pro-gram, according to Horace A Sorensen, president of the chapter, chap-ter, are musical numbers by Carl F. Reimann and a historical histor-ical reading by L. Clair Likes. Mr. Likes will read the story of the coming of Father Escalante to Utah, as written by - Joel Ricks, historian of the state S. U, P. There will be a few business announcements, Mr. Sorensen said, with special emphasis on plans for the 1949 summer encampment en-campment at Brighton, at which the local group will be host. |
