Show Noted Contralto Next Attraction Of Granite Arts After a recess during the busy holiday season, the Granite Gran-ite Arts association will resume its concert series on Thursday evening, Jan. 10, with the presentation of Mona Bradford, world famous contralto, in a recital at the Granite hh auditorium. audi-torium. This will be the fourth offering of the newly formed association, and promises to be nnp of the outstanding events of the winter musical season in Utah. The association opened its se- I ries with Raoul Jobm. Metropolitan Metro-politan opera tenor, in mid October, Oc-tober, and followed with Erica Mo'rini, noted violinist." and "the Lehner string ctuartet. Dr. Leslie D. Burbidge, association asso-ciation business manager, reports re-ports that a few season mem berships are still available, anil that a number of outstanding attractions are still on the future fu-ture schedule. Among them ar Eleanor Steber, soprano, on Feb. 4; Hawthorne Daniel, lecturer, on Feb. 7; Egon Petri, nianist. Feb. 18-19, Iva Kitchen, dancer, on March 11, and the famed Don Cossacks choral group on March 21. Admissions may be arranged either with .Dr. Burbidge at his office in the Medical Arts Bldg.. or at the box office on concert nights. |
