Show MORTAR BOARD FASHION SHOW SET FOR JAN. 24 Any smart Salt Lake woman who would learn the latest about the much discussed "new look" should count on being present at the Mortar Board fashion show and bridge tea. What makes the whole thing all the more worth while is the fact that this annual social event is staged for the benefit of a scholarship fund and for the improvement of pediatric divisions of local hospitals. Saturday, Jan. 24, is the red letter day and friends and members mem-bers of Mortar Board will gather gath-er in the ballroom of the Union Building on the U. of U. campus cam-pus at 1:30. The fashion show will begin promptly at 2 p.m. with members of Mortar Board's active and alumni group and their children doing the modeling. Fashions for All Featured on the show will be everything from youngsters' styles to maternity wear, with the accent on new spring costumes cos-tumes for the smart young matron ma-tron about town. Young models will wear clothing furnished by Lois Head's shop of custom-made clothing for small children. Other fashions will come from the closets of Mortar Board models with Z. C. M. I. providing provid-ing accessories and fur coats for the "looking" pleasure of tea-goers. Models for the show include Mrs. Art Budd, Mrs. Peter Freed, Mrs. Thomas Holland Jr., and son, Gregory, Mrs. Leo Jacobsen and her three children, (Ted, Richard, and Christine), Mrs. Drew Jacobsen and daughter, Shirley, Mrs. J. Arthur Knudsen and daughter, Kristie, Mrs. William Wil-liam Macrate, Mrs. Herbert Price, Mrs. Melbourne Romney Jr., Mrs. Stacy Struble, Miss Jean Ward, Miss Beth West, Miss Sally Ralph, Miss Marion Darger, Miss Joan Nelson and Mrs. Ted Anderson. Litle Jane and Ann Wirthlin, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. Wirthlin Wirth-lin will also model. Committee Members General chairman for the function func-tion is Mrs. Wirthlin and she is being assisted by Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth D. Reese, Mrs. Stuart Jar-dine, Jar-dine, Mrs. D. L.
